  Kaden Anderson threw for 154 yards and two touchdowns and Wyoming beat Colorado State 28-0 on Saturday night. Landon Sims got the scoring started when he crashed in from the 1 with 2:43 left in the first quarter. Anderson's 22-yard touchdown pass to Michael Fitzgerald 45 seconds into the second quarter made it 14-0. Then, 36 seconds before halftime, Anderson threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Chris Durr Jr. Sam Scott made it a four-touchdown lead with a 37-yard scoring run with 10:15 left in the third. Darius Curry threw for 112 yards for Colorado State. Reserve Jackson Brousseau threw three interceptions. Wyoming (4-4, 2-2 Mountain West Conference) has won two of its last three following a three-game losing streak. The last time the Rams were shutout was the beginning of the 2024 season when No. 4 Texas beat them, 52-0 in Austin, Texas on Aug. 31.   Kaden Anderson was 17-of-23 passing for 167 yards and two touchdowns and Wyoming beat Northern Iowa 31-7 on Saturday. Sam Scott opened the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown run and Samuel Harris also ran for an 18-yard TD that capped the scoring with 7:12 to play. Terron Kellman had 87 yards rushing on seven carries for Wyoming (2-0). Harris ran for 61 yards and Scott added 58 yards rushing. Hyson Bey-Buie scored on a 2-yard run that capped an 11-play, 90-yard drive by Northern Iowa (1-1) and made it 7-7 midway through the second quarter.

Anderson threw a 6-yard TD pass to John Michael Gyllenborg in the second quarter and hit Chris Durr for a 21-yard TD in the third. Jaden DaCosta blocked a punt that was recovered by Bricen Brantley at the UNI 35 with 26 seconds left in the second quarter and Erik Sandvik kicked a 40-yard field goal as time expired to make it 17-7 at halftime. Anderson left the game in the fourth quarter after a hard hit by defense back Jonathan Cabral-Martin, who came unblocked off the edge.   Kaden Anderson threw for 260 yards and a touchdown and Sam Scott ran for 132 yards and Wyoming beat Akon 10-0 in a season-opening contest for both teams Thursday night. It was the first-ever meeting between the two programs. Anderson threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Chris Durr Jr. with 4:26 left in the game to secure the win. Durr, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, finished with 190 yards receiving on eight catches. He's coming off a freshman season where he caught 31 passes for 348 yards and one touchdown. Scott, a senior who was recruited by the Cowboys as a linebacker, carried the ball 29 times and averaged 4.6-yards-per rush. Last year he led Wyoming in rushing with 435 yards on a career-high 92 carries and scored three touchdowns. Akron's Ben Finley threw for 139 yards. - Wyoming/AP College Football
