  WEEK 13 SEC CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Taylor Wein, DL Oklahoma,...Registered a career-high-tying four tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, a career-high 1.5 sacks and a QB hurry in OU's 17-6 win over No. 23 Missouri in Norman...A leader of an OU defensive unit that held the nation's sixth-ranked rushing team to a season-low 70 rushing yards (2.0 per carry), which was 172 yards below Missouri's season average of 242 entering the game. The Tigers netted zero rushing yards in the second half...Wein and his defensive teammates limited running back Ahmad Hardy to 57 yards on 17 carries (3.4 per rush). He entered Saturday as the nation's leading rusher at 134.6 rushing yards per game (6.8 per rush)...Three of his four tackles were for lost yards and the other was only a one-yard gain...This was his fourth game this season with four tackles, his fifth with at least 1.0 sack and his fourth with 2.0 TFLs. He has at least 0.5 TFL in nine of 11 games this season...He now has 6.0 sacks and ranks fourth in the SEC with his team-leading 14.0 tackles for loss this season, and has a team-high six QB hurries...The win was OU's third straight and fifth this season over an opponent ranked in the AP Top 25 at the time of competition. - SEC Football

  WEEK 12 SEC DEFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: Taylor Wein, DE, Oklahoma,...Oklahoma redshirt sophomore Taylor Wein logged three tackles, a sack (which resulted in a fumble), two QB hurries and a blocked field goal in Oklahoma's 23-21 road win over No. 4 Alabama on Saturday...Wein blocked Alabama's field goal attempt at the end of the first half to preserve a 17-14 lead. It was OU's first field goal block since the 2020 season...He sacked Alabama QB Ty Simpson late in the third quarter, knocking the ball loose and resulting in an OU fumble recovery. The Sooners converted the turnover into a field goal that put them ahead 23-21 for good with 13:41 remaining...The strip sack was his first career forced fumble. He now has 4.5 sacks and a team-leading 12.0 tackles for loss this season. He has recorded all of his career sacks and TFLs this season...The win marked Oklahoma's highest-ranked road victory since it beat No. 2 Ohio State 31-16 in 2017. - SEC Football
