WEEK 7 SUN BELT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Paddy McAteer, Troy,(Jr., K - Mullaghbawn, Ireland),...Trojans junior kicker Paddy McAteer booted a program-record 53-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the first half to spark a 13-point Troy run in an eventual 48-41 win over Texas Sate in overtime. Following Troy's seven-play, 75-yard scoring drive to open the second half, McAteer executed a perfect onside kick with a ball that caromed off a Texas State player and back into the hands of a Trojan . The onside kick recovery following the kick from the Mullaghbawn, Ireland, product, led to another Troy field goal to cut the Texas State lead to four. - Sun Belt football
