2023 PATRIOT LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: Jaylon Joseph, Lafayette, Fr., DL, Houston, Texas/North Shore, 2023 Stats: 26 tackles (13 solo), 5.5 TFLs of 31 yards, 4.0 sacks, 8 quarterback hurries, 1 blocked kick,...Joseph led all Patriot League freshmen with 4.0 sacks, tying for the lead with 5.5 TFLs for 31 yards to help a Lafayette defense that held opponents to a League-best 22.2 points per game. He earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 18 after recording three tackles, a half sack and a quarterback hurry in the Leopards' 24-3 win over Columbia. The Houston, Texas native finished with three tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1.0 sack to hold Fordham's high-powered offense to 16 points in a 24-16 victory. - Patriot League Football
