WEEK 5 MAC FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Palmer Domschke, Western Michigan, Kicker, R-Junior, Bolingbrook, Ill. (Neuqua Valley),...Palmer Domschke went 3-for-3 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra points in WMU's 47-14 win over FCS Top-10 opp onent Rhode Island. His first field goal was from 29 yards out to cut URI's lead to 7-3 at 6:48 in the first quarter. He then connected from 41 and 49 yards late in the third quarter to push the lead to 41-7 and 44-7. His 49-yard field goal was a season long. - MAC Football

WEEK 2 MAC FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Palmer Domschke, Western Michigan, K, R-Jr., Bollingbrook, Ill. (Neaqua Valley),...Domschke was instrumental in helping the Broncos take North Texas to overtime. He tied his career high with three fie ld goals and also had three extra points, for 12 of WMU's 30 points on the day. All three of his field goals came from at least 40 yards out, hitting from 40, 43 and 48. His first FG, a 40-yarder, of the day gave the Broncos a 17-7 lead late in the secon d quarter. He then nailed a 43-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter to put the Broncos up 27-17. His final field goal came in WMU's possession in overtime, connecting from 48 to give the Broncos a 30-27 lead. - MAC Football

OCT 24 MAC WEST DIVISION SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Palmer Domschke, Western Michigan, Kicker, Freshman, Bolingbrook, Ill. (Nequa Valley),...Domschke hit three crucial field goals in WMU's 16-10 win at Miami. He got the Broncos on the board with 3 :50 left in the second quarter, connecting on a career-long 52-yard field goal to tie it up at 3-3. He then gave WMU the lead as time expired in the first half on a 46-yard field goal. With a 13-3 lead late in the third quarter, he extended it to 16-3 on a 37-yarder. - MAC Football
