  Angel Flores scores on three short touchdown runs and Central Michigan defeated Bowling Green 27-6 on Saturday, snapping a 10-game road losing streak in Mid-American Conference games. Jordan Kwiatkowski returned an interception 26 yards to the Bowling Green 1-yard line to set up Flores' first touchdown for a 7-3 lead early in the second quarter and the Chippewas (4-3, 2-1) led from there. Flores scored from 6 yards out midway through the second quarter in a drive sparked by Joe Labas' 63-yard pass to Collin Payne and CMU went on to a 17-6 halftime lead.

Flores added his final TD from 3 yards out early in the third quarter. The score was set up by Brock Townsend's 37-yard run that took the ball to the Falcons' 2. CMU stuck to its ground game, rushing for 203 yards, led by Flores' 72 on 18 carries. The Chippewas attempted only five passes. Kwiatkowski led the defense with 14 tackles, including seven solo. Cade Graham kicked two field goals for CMU, including a career-long 47-yarder. The Falcons' only points came on two Jackson Kleather field goals, including a 49-yarder.   Angel Flores rushed for 137 yards and threw a touchdown pass, and Nahree Biggins rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown to lead Central Michigan to a 24-13 win over in-state rival Eastern Michigan in the Mid-American Conference opener for both teams. Flores led the Central Michigan offense with 22 carries. He threw two passes, one of them a two-yard touchdown to Langston Lewis with 10:46 remaining in the second quarter for a 21-3 lead. That score was Central Michigan's last until a 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

Starting quarterback Joe Labas (14-for-26, 138 yards) opened the scoring for the Chippewas in the first quarter with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Brock Townsend. Biggins doubled their tally with a 49-yard touchdown rush less than five minutes later. After Rudy Kessinger's second made field goal for EMU, quarterback Noah Kim punched in a 14-yard touchdown to trim the deficit to 21-13 with 10:45 remaining in the third quarter. Kim had the ball punched out by Kalen Carroll at the 1-yard line, then recovered his own fumble for a touchdown. Kim was picked off by Maddix Blackwell at the end of the third at the Central Michigan 24-yard line for the game's only turnover.   Ty Pennington, Angel Flores and Seth Cromwell each had two touchdowns and Northern Arizona coasted to a 66-6 victory over independent Lincoln (CA) on Saturday in Lumberjacks' coach Brian Wright's debut. Pennington opened the scoring with a 20-yard run and later hit BJ Fleming for a 62-yard score that made it 31-6. Pennington finished 8 of 10 for 116 yards passing. The Lumberjacks, who gave up the ball on downs on their opening possession, had touchdowns on eight-straight possessions. Flores, who was 5-for-5 passing for 80 yards, closed out the first half with an 8-yard TD pass to Bryzai White and a 13-yarder to Ta'ir Brooks that made it 45-6.

Cromwell had two short scoring runs and finished with 43 yards on nine touches as 10 different runners combined for 233 yards. J'Wan Evans and Kenveon Stone closed out the scoring with short runs in the second half. Evans led all runners with 48 yards on six carries. Fleming's 98 yards on three receptions led the eight different receivers. Jack Clavel threw a touchdown pass to Darius Maxwell for Lincoln in the second quarter, but Ammon Allen intercepted the PAT pass attempt and returned it 97 yards for two NAU points.
