  WEEK 8 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Alabama's Jayvian Allen, a redshirt senior running back, rushed 13 times for 98 yards (7.5 YPR) and three touchdowns in the Lions homecoming victory over rival EKU. He became the first UNA player to rush for three touchdowns in a game since 2022. Additionally, Allen recorded one catch for six yards against the Colonels. - United Athletic Conference Football

  Jayvian Allan rushed for three touchdowns and Destin Wade threw two touchdown passes for North Alabama in a 35-14 win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night. Allan's touchdowns came from 1, 2 and 23 yards out. Noah Gregg caught an 18-yard pass up the middle and Kaleb Heatherly caught a 5-yard throw for North Alabama (2-5, 1-2 UAC), which snapped a three-game losing streak and picked up its first conference win. Wade went 11-for-18 passing for 127 yards and had 109 yards rushing for the Lions.

Eastern Kentucky (3-4, 1-2) starting quarterback Myles Burkett completed 14 passes for 133 yards and threw a touchdown and an interception. Marcus Calwise Jr. caught a 27-yard touchdown pass for the Colonels. Brady Hensley ran a 32-yard score after finding a gap at the line of scrimmage with less than four minutes to go. Play was stopped with 6:17 remaining when Eastern Kentucky's Jalen Montgomery took a big hit after catching a ball on the sideline.   Jayvian Allen rushed for two touchdowns and 98 yards as North Alabama eclipsed the 300-yard rushing mark against Northeastern State in a 49-21 win over Northeastern State on Saturday night. Five different ballcarriers eclipsed the 30-yard mark for North Alabama. Allen had 91 yards on eight carries. Jalen Fletcher went for 72 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Jalyn Daniels had 55 yards and a touchdown on five carries. L.T. Sanders had 30 yards and a touchdown on five carries.

Quarterback Destin Wade was 11-for-15 with 161 yards and a touchdown, and ran seven times for 43 yards. Donnie Smith led Northeastern State's offense, going 18-for-35 with 222 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Three different Northeastern State receivers eclipsed the 92-yard mark, all with five receptions. La'Vontae Shenault had 92 yards. Both Cam Woods and Ramon McKinney Jr. had 94 yards. Northeastern State will fall to 2-1 before embarking on its Mid America Intercollegiate Athletics Association schedule.
