WEEK 11 MEAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: S.C. State's Jarod Washington (DB, 6-2, 188, Sr., Fredericksburg, Va.) led the Bulldogs' defense with a standout performance, scoring two defensive touchdowns in the 42-12 win over Howard. He returned a fumble 7 7 yards for a touchdown and added a 27-yard interception return for another score. Washington also recorded four solo tackles and five pass breakups. - MEAC Football

This time, Washington added in two touchdowns as South C arolina State defeated Howard 42-12 in the MEAC. He had a 27-yard pick-six in the first quarter and returned a blocked field goal 56 yards for a score on the final play of the first half. Washington broke up five passes and finished with four solo tackle s.
