  WEEK 7 MEAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Carolina Central quarterback Walker Harris (QB, 6-1, 195, r-Sr., Wake Forest, N.C.) delivered another standout performance in the Eagles' 45-7 victory over Florida A&M. The redshirt senior completed 21 of 27 passes (77.8%) for 278 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with eight different receivers. He also added 30 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Saturday marked Harris's fourth game this season with over 250 passing yards and at least two touchdown passes, leading a balanced NCCU offense to 486 total yards. - MEAC Football

  Walker Harris accounted for three touchdowns, Chris Mosley ran for 131 yards and a score, and North Carolina Central rolled to a 45-7 victory over Florida A&M on Saturday. Harris completed 21 of 27 passes for 278 yards that included a pair of touchdowns. His 4-yard touchdown run stretched the N.C. Central lead to 35-7 late in the third quarter. Mosley broke loose on a 50-yard touchdown run early in the fourth.

Chance Peterson made eight catches for 104 yards for North Carolina Central (5-2). Eric Adams added a 33-yard pick-6. Jett Peddy threw for 154 yards with three interceptions for Florida A&M (1-4). Thad Franklin Jr. scored on a short touchdown run in the third for the Rattlers. Jelani Vassell and Christian Smith each made an interception for the Eagles. - AP College Football

  Walker Harris threw two touchdown passes and ran for another TD, Arthur Rodgers Jr. had two rushing touchdowns, and North Carolina Central beat East Texas A&M 50-42 on Saturday night. Harris was 21-of-32 passing for 288 yards and scored on a 1-yard run about five minutes into the third quarter. Harris threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Chauncey Spikes that made it 14-7 with 3:55 left in the first quarter and N.C. Central (4-2) led the rest of the way.

East Texas A&M (0-4) took a 7-0 lead when Tanner Harrison caught a pass from Harris and then raced 43 yards to the end zone for a 73-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage. Chris Mosley had 26 carries for 72 yards and a TD and added five receptions for 58 yards for N.C. Central. Spikes finished with 113 yards receiving on six catches. Ron Peace was 19-of-39 passing for 356 yards and two touchdowns with an interception for the Lions. Eric Rodriguez replaced Peace with about four minutes to play and went 7 of 12 for 100 yards and two TDs.   Walker Harris threw for a career-high 387 passing and three touchdowns, Tomondrey Braxton had a pick-6, and NC Central defeated Division II Fayetteville State 49-19 on Saturday night. The Eagles (2-2) had five players score touchdowns, highlighted by Mehki Wall's 63-yard scoring reception early in the fourth quarter. Harris and Zion Dobson added one rushing touchdown apiece, and Quentin McCall and Luke Bracey each had one receiving score.

NC Central had 499 total yards of offense to Fayetteville State's 228. NC Central had 24 total first downs and went 9-for-14 on third down. After an interception in the third quarter, NC Central responded by forcing a three-and-out and scoring three straight touchdowns, including two in eight seconds, the second of which was Braxton's pick-6. Bryce Council had 94 rushing yards and one touchdown on 11 carries for the Broncos (0-3). The Eagles are 25-9 all-time against the Broncos, with their last meeting being a 54-31 NC Central win in 2012. - AP College Football
