WEEK 9 BIG SKY CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ty Morrison, Montana (K/P, Sr., San Valencia, Calif.),...Montana's Ty Morrison Ty Morrison had the usual solid day with his foot a Sacramento State, going 7-for-7 on PATs, to stay perfect on the year, t otaling 429 yards on seven kickoffs with four touchbacks, and logging 112 yards on 3 punts. It was what he did with his arm that was special, however. Morrison helped put the nail in Sac State's coffin early in the fourth quarter when he completed a 28-y ard pass to Ian Finch on a 4th and 9 to convert a huge fourth down for the Griz that led directly to a Michael Wortham touchdown one play later. WEEK 4 BIG SKY SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ty Morrison, Montana (K/P, Jr., Valencia, Calif.),...Montana's Ty Morrison filled up the stat sheet with another impressive day in the kicking game in the 63-20 win over Indiana State. The senior K/P went a perfect 7-for-7 on PAT attempts before being subbed out partway through the third quarter to stay perfect on the year. He added 4 punts for 180 yards, averaging 45 per attempt with 2 inside the 20 and a long of 49. He also logged 8 kickoffs for 510 yar ds and 6 touchbacks. WEEK 3 BIG SKY CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ty Morrison, Montana (K/P, Jr., Valencia, Calif.),...Ty Morrison kicked what would prove to be the game-winning field goal with 4:23 to play from 42 yards out and had a strong day overall in the kicking game to help Montana beat North Dakota. In the punting game he totaled 335 yards and averaged just under 40 yards on nine attempts with two inside the 20. He also totaled 317 yards on five kickoffs with three touchbacks, and went 3-for-3 on PATs for a p ersonal haul of six points for UM. - Big Sky Football
