NOV 14 NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ayinde Johnson, Long Island, Defensive Back, R-Fr., 6-0, 190 lbs., Danbury, CT/Capital Prep Harbor, Week 11 Stats: 3 total tackles (3 solo), 1 INT,...For the second time in as many weeks, Johnson sealed the deal f or LIU in the final minute with an interception. The redshirt-freshman's pick at the Sharks' 47-yard line with 41 seconds left preserved LIU's 34-28 lead and secured the victory. A week ago, Johnson took home his first weekly award (NEC Co-Rookie of the Week) after he had a pick six in the final minute and returned in for 40 yards to secure a 29-20 win against CCSU.
