2022 ALL-SIAC CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM: DL Tim Alderman, Fort Valley State, Sophomore, Fort Valley, GA,...One of the top two Conference defensive linemen, Alderman, was voted to his first appearance on the All-SIAC First Team. After a solid true freshman ye ar, the 2022 All-SIAC Preseason Second Team member did not disappoint. Alderman finished second in the league with 14 tackles for loss, double his total from a year ago, and 7.5 sacks, also double from 2021, while he helped FVSU record the top SIAC run d efense at 115.5 yards allowed per game. The Fort Valley, Ga., hometown product also increased his total tackles to 44 and led the Wildcats with 14 quarterback hurries. His top tackle game he saved for Albany State with six to go with a big fourth-quarter sack and a first-half fumble recovery in the contest. - Fort Valley State Football
