WEEK 10 PIONEER FOOTBALL LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Andy Peters, St. Thomas (Graduate, Quarterback, Boise, Idaho),...Peters wins the PFL offensive honor for a second consecutive week after accounting for the game's first five touchdowns in St. Thomas' 45-0 victory against Marist. He completed 14-of-19 passes for 248 yards (17.7 yards per completion) and two touchdowns. Peters also ran for three touchdowns in a 13-carry, 28-yard effort. He opened the scoring with a 38-yard touchdown pass to Que ntin Butler, then ran for the game's next three touchdowns, which were all one-yard carries, the first at 2:44 left in the first quarter and then at 8:15 and 2:18 of the second quarter. Peters capped the first half scoring with a seven-yard touchdown pas s to Luke Schuler with 13 seconds left in the half. WEEK 9 PIONEER FOOTBALL LEAGUE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Andy Peters, St. Thomas (Graduate, Quarterback, Boise, Idaho),...After missing the Tommies Week 8 game, Peters returned to post a career-best 292 passing yards in a 52-10 PFL victory at Stetson . He completed 22-of-28 passes, averaging 10.4 yards per completion, for three touchdowns along with a career-high in passing yards. Peters tossed a 63-yard touchdown pass to Stefano Giovannelli in the first quarter, a 30-yard scoring throw to Luke Schul er in the second quarter, scored on a one-yard run in the third quarter, before capping his day with a 19-yard touchdown pass to JaShawn Todd just before the end of the third quarter. Peters had 80 yards on 10 carries without being stopped for a loss and finished the day with 372 yards of total offense. It was the most passing yards by a quarterback in St. Thomas' Division I era. - Pioneer Football League

Andy Peters accounted for five touchdowns - two through the air and three on the ground - and St. Thomas-Minnesota rolled to a 45-0 victory over Marist on Saturday. St. Thomas-Minnesota (6-3, 4-2 Pioneer Football League) linebacker Ryan Sever stuffed Tri stan Shannon for no gain on a fourth-and-1 run at the Marist 38-yard line on the game's opening possession and it was all downhill for the Red Foxes (3-6, 1-4) from there. Peters fired a touchdown pass to Quentin Cobb-Butler on the next play to put the T ommies ahead.Elliot Huether's punt bounced off Marist's Trevion Adcox and Mitchell Schares recovered at the Red Foxes' 16-yard line. Five plays later Peters ran it in from a yard out and Gabriel Abel added a two-point run for a 15-0 advantage afte r one quarter. The Tommies turned interceptions by Nick Hand and Rod Finley in the second quarter into 1-yard touchdown runs by Peters. Peters followed with a 7-yard touchdown pass to Luke Schuler for a 35-0 lead at halftime. Peters completed 14 of 19 pa sses for 248 yards and carried 13 times for 28. Andy Peters threw three touchdown passes, and the St. Thomas-Minnesota defense stifled Stetson in a 52-14 victory for the Tommies on Saturday. Peters completed 22 of 28 passes for 292 yards and backup Amari Powell added a 64-yard touchdown for a team pas sing total of 356 yards. Peters added 80 yards rushing. The Tommies (5-3, 3-2 Pioneer Football League) doubled the Hatters in first downs (22-11) and had more than four times the total yardage (558-120).Peters had a 63-yard touchdown pass to Stefa no Giovannelli and Powell's 64-yard score went to Tyson Schilling, making it 52-3 midway through the fourth quarter. Schilling caught four passes for 101 yards. Gavin Rupp's 43-yard pass to Will Secker with 5 1/2 minutes to go gave the Hatters (3-6, 2-3) their only touchdown on homecoming. Andy Peters, Amari Powell and Ryan Jackson each threw for a touchdown, Joseph Koch rushed for three scores, and St. Thomas-Minnesota routed Davidson 57-13 on Saturday. Powell's touchdown throw went to Quentin Cobb-Butler for an 85-yard score on the first play of the second half for a 36-0 lead. Koch's third touchdown run gave the Tommies a 50-0 lead with 7:24 remaining in the third quarter.It was the first time St. Thomas scored 50-plus points in a game since 2021, its first season of Division I play. Peters, Powell and Jackson, who was making his collegiate debut, combined to go 18 of 23 - with at least three completions each - for 367 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions. Koch had 10 carries for 53 yards and Patrick Bowen added 62 y ards rushing and two scores. Quentin Cobb-Butler led the Tommies (3-3, 1-2 Pioneer) with 137 yards receiving and a touchdown.
