  Michael Wortham had 244 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns, Keali'i Ah Yat threw for 305 yards and three scores and Montana routed South Dakota 52-22 on Saturday to set up a rematch against Montana State in the FCS semifinals. Third-seeded Montana (13-1) advanced to the semifinals for the 12th time. Montana State will host the game Saturday after beating the Grizzlies 31-28 in Missoula on Nov. 28 to win the Big Sky title and secure the second seed. The Bobcats beat Stephen F. Austin 44-28 on Friday night. Wortham had 201 yards receiving on 11 catches and 43 yards rushing on three carries to break the Montana record for all-purpose yards in a season. Montana dominated from the start, driving 75 yards on the opening possession. Ah Yat's 1-yard touchdown pass to Drew Deck gave the Grizzlies a 7-0 lead and Ah Yat's 53-yard touchdown pass to Wortham made it 24-0 in the second quarter.

The Coyotes (10-5) made it 24-7 heading to halftime when L.J. Phillips Jr. scored on a 23-yard run. South Dakota rallied on two touchdown passes by Aidan Bouman - 69 yards to Jack Martens and 20 yards to Tysen Boze to make it 38-22 with 8:42 remaining. The Grizzlies responded with an 82-yard drive, highlighted by a unique trick-play in which Wortham caught a pass on a short slant then threw a backward pass across the field to Eli Gillman who took it for a 20-yard gain to the South Dakota 29-yard line. Wortham finished the drive with an 11-yard touchdown run and a 45-22 lead with 2:40 remaining. Hashim Jones capped the scoring with a 20-yard run in the final minute.   WEEK 9 BIG SKY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Michael Wortham, Montana (WR/RB/KR, R-Sr., North Highlands, Calif.),...Michael Wortham did it all for Montana this past Friday night, with a hat trick of touchdowns and 238 all-purpose yards in the 49-35 win at Sacramento State. Wortham led the Griz in rushing, receiving, and combined returns as college football's leader in all-purpose yards made it a homecoming to remember in his hometown of Sacramento. All told he rushed for a game-high 89 yards and two touchdowns, caught five passes for 80 yards and another touchdown, and returned two kickoffs for 69 yards including a long of 44 yards.   WEEK 9 FCS NATIONAL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Michael Wortham, Montana, WR/KR, R-Sr., 5-9, 190,...The Division I leader in all-purpose yards per game was at it again with 238 more yards plus three touchdowns as Montana won at Sacramento State 49-35 in a highly anticipated Big Sky game. From just outside Sacramento, his homecoming included seven carries for a season-high 89 yards, with touchdowns from 27 and 15 yards out; five receptions for 80 yards, including a 64-yard TD; and 44- and 25-yard kickoff returns. He has 11 TDs from scrimmage this season, averaging 33.0 yards on them.   Keali'i Ah Yat threw three touchdown passes, Michael Wortham caught a touchdown pass and ran for two scores and Montana remained unbeaten with a 49-35 victory over Sacramento State on Friday night. Ah Yat completed 16 of 24 passes for 196 yards with an interception for Montana (8-0, 4-0 Big Sky Conference) - ranked No. 4 in the FCS coaches poll. Wortham totaled 89 yards on just seven rushes. Sacramento State (4-4, 2-2) took a 7-0 lead when Rodney Hammond Jr. capped a 13-play drive with a 7-yard touchdown run. Montana answered with Ah Yat's 24-yard touchdown pass to Brooks Davis to knot the score after one quarter. Cardell Williams fired a 63-yard scoring strike to freshman Ernest Campbell and the Hornets moved back in front 14-7 just 10 seconds into the second quarter.

Ah Yat and Wortham teamed up for a 64-yard touchdown and Wortham added a 27-yard scoring run as Montana regained the lead 21-14. Hammond pulled the Hornets even with a 6-yard touchdown run, but Jaxon Fresques muffed a Montana punt that Tanner Huff recovered at the Sac State 21-yard line. Eli Gillman's 13-yard touchdown run three plays later gave the Grizzlies a 28-21 lead at halftime. Ah Yat threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Evan Shafer at the end of a nine-play 90-yard drive to begin the second half. It was the only score of the third quarter as Montana upped its lead to 35-21. Wortham scored on a 15-yard run just 1:48 into the final quarter for a 21-point advantage. Malae Fonoti capped the Grizzlies' scoring with 1:45 left on a 4-yard touchdown run on the first play after an interception by Caleb Otlewski. Williams totaled 332 yards on 25-for-32 passing with an interception for Sac State. He added 17- and 18-yard touchdown runs in the fourth quarter. Campbell had nine receptions for 206 yards.   WEEK 6 BIG SKY CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Micahel Wortham, Montana (WR, R-Sr., North Highlands, Calif),...Michael Wortham did a bit of everything for the Griz, and did it well when the team needed him most. The senior receiver totaled 247 all-purpose yards while throwing for a touchdown and rushing for two more, including the game winner against Idaho State. He had 41 yards on the ground, 124 receiving, and another 82 on kickoff returns. He also set up a big touchdown with his arm, throwing to quarterback Keali'i Ah Yat on a reverse that set Montana up in the red zone late in the fourth quarter. On the next play he ran it in from nine yards out to put the Griz up for good. Wortham leads the Big Sky and the FCS as a whole in all-purpose yards with 883 on the season, an average of 176 per game.
