2022 PRESEASON RIMINGTON TROPHY WATCHLIST: Connor Pay, BYU,...Pay, from Highland, Utah, played in all 13 games with 10 starts for No. 19-ranked BYU as a Covid-year freshman in 2021. He took over the center position the final five games of the season for injured starter James Empey, a three-time Rimington Trophy watchlist honoree. Before moving to center, Pay earned a starting role at right guard for the Cougars. The 6-5, 312-pound sophomore is one of only seven underclassmen to make the preseason watchl ist recognizing the nation's top centers. - BYU Football
