South Alabama has landed another Division I football transfer for 2021, as former Texas A&M linebacker Ke'Shun Brown has joined the Jaguars' program, a source confirmed to AL.com on Sunday. Brown, a former Carver-Montgomery standout, will have four seaso ns of eligibility at South Alabama. He is expected to enroll in school this week and participate in fall camp, which begins Friday.The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Brown was a four-star recruit in the 2019 signing class, but has not seen game action in two seasons at Texas A&M. He redshirted as a true freshmen, then initially opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID concerns before returning late in the fall. Brown went through spring practice at Texas A&M, but was not expected to contend for a starting job this fall. He entered the NCAA transfer portal in May. Brown is the 12th Division I transfer to join the South Alabama program since head coach Kane Wommack took over in December. - Birmingham News
