A second former Auburn defensive back is transferring to Georgia Tech. Eric Reed Jr., a former four-star prospect, committed to the Yellow Jackets on Wednesday night, he announced on Twitter. Reed joins Ahmari Harvey as former Tigers defensive backs to m ake the move to Georgia Tech this offseason. Harvey transferred after the end of the season and committed to Georgia Tech back in January.Reed, meanwhile, originally entered the transfer portal in early January before withdrawing his name shortly thereafter. He was never listed on Auburn's spring roster and reentered the portal March 28. Reed, who signed with Auburn in 2020, saw limited playing time during his two years on the Plains. - Birmingham News
