2021 ALL-MAC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Tight End - Tristian Brank, Akron,...Brank led all eligible players at the position this season collecting a conference-best three touchdowns, while ranking second in the league in receptions (25) and receiving yards ( 269). In league play, Brank hauled in 17 catches for 169 yards, including three touchdowns and ranked second on the team in touchdowns and third in receptions and receiving yards. Brank pulled in a reception in 11 of 12 games for Akron this fall, includi ng registering a career-high five catches for 38 yards versus Ball State on Nov. 2. He found the end zone three times scoring touchdowns against Ohio (Oct. 2), Miami (Oct. 16) and Ball State (Nov. 2), while garnering a career-high 46 yards on three catch es against Bryant (Sept. 18). Brank scored his first career touchdown with a nine-yard reception in the third quarter against Ohio on Oct. 2 en route to posting three catches for 23 yards on the day. - Akron Football
