Noah Potter, North Carolina State, Player News
|
Former Ohio State Buckeyes defensive lineman Noah Potter committed Monday via Twitter to play for the Cincinnati Bearcats. Potter announced in late April that he was entering the transfer portal after three seasons at OSU. Potter, a former four-star pros pect at Mentor High School ranked the No. 6 player in Ohio by 247Sports, did not play during the 2021 season because of a foot injury in addition to emergency eye surgery to repair a torn retina. He played four games during the 2020 season, making two ta ckles. Despite the health scare, Potter had bounced back by March and gone through spring practice. His listed size at 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds gave him a chance to seize a large role, allowing him to line up at either defensive end or tackle. - Cincinnat i Enquirer
