 Rassie Littlejohn, Stetson, Player News

SEPT 5 PIONEER LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Rassie Littlejohn, Stetson, (Jr. DB, Gainesville, Georgia),...Littlejohn was one of eight FCS defensive players with multiple interceptions during the opening week, his two interceptions helping Stetson claim a 24-14 victory against NAIA foe Concordia (Mich.) Saturday. He also claimed six tackles (four solo) and had a pass breakup on the day. Littlejohn's first interception came in the opening moments of the second quarter and stopped a Concordia drive at the Stetson 2-yard line. On the next play, Stetson scored a 98-yard passing touchdown to take the lead. Littlejohn's second pick came in the fourth quarter. Following a Stetson turnover on downs, he picked off a pass on the first play from scrimmage to hand the ball back to the offense, helping the Hatters hang on to the lead and eventually pick up the win. - Pioneer League Football
