OCT 31 MEAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Morgan State senior cornerback Jae'Veyon Morton (CB, 5-9, 180, Sr., Detroit, Mich.) ran an interception back for a defensive touchdown and accumulated two tackles and a pass breakup in the Bears' upset of South C arolina State - all part of a 24-point fourth quarter for Morgan State, as the Bears forced six turnovers in the game. - MEAC Football

The Detroit native finished the season ranked T-No. 4 in the confere nce in passes defended (8) and No. 9 in tackles with 63, averaging 5.7 per game.
