 Alex Bales, Oregon, Player News

  05/22/22 - K Alex BalesSr/2024, Oregon, 5-11, 171 (DS#999 K) + More +

On Friday, the Oregon Ducks added a kicker to their roster. Former Cincinnati Bearcat kicker Alex Bales committed to Oregon as it adds an experienced kicker to compete with Camden Lewis and Washington State transfer Andrew Boyle. Bales averaged 62.5 yards on 84 kickoffs last season as he also registered 45 touchbacks, which tied for 22nd in the country. His 53.6% touchback percentage ranked 55th nationally as Bales was 2-for-5 on field goals and 12-for-13 on extra points last year. Bales will have three years of eligibility remaining at Oregon after transferring. He is the 10th transfer player the Ducks program as added this offseason. - Register Guard
