  Another Memphis football player has entered the transfer portal. Freshman defensive lineman Trevis Hopper is in the portal, according to Rivals. He had yet to play in a game for the Tigers after redshirting last season. Hopper also has not been on the Tigers' roster since at least the week leading to the Oct. 3 game at SMU. A former three-star recruit from Central High School, Hopper was the Tigers' highest ranked local signing in the 2019 class. Hopper was also the sixth highest-ranked player in the class. He played four seasons at Central and was a Class 6A All-State lineman as a senior. He was named Mr. Football Class 5A Lineman as a sophomore. He's now the 13th Memphis player to transfer, opt out or take a leave of absence this season. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
