NOV 14 MISSOURI VALLEY PLATER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: CB C.J. Siegel, North Dakota - In the 28-19 win against South Dakota, C.J. Siegel helped North Dakota close the door on a potential comeback, blocking the extra point after USD scored to make it 28-19. W ith the block, the Fighting Hawks kept it a two-score game with 12:37 left. Siegel also had three tackles and a pass breakup in the win. With the breakup, Siegel now has 23 pass breakups in his career, tying him with Coach Joel Schwenzfeier (2008-10) for No. 4 on the UND Division I list. - Missouri Valley Football

NOV 7 MISSOURI VALLEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: CB C.J. Siegel, North Dakota - In the 42-7 win at Indiana State, C.J. Siegel intercepted a Sycamore pass and returned it 29 yards. Eight plays later, Tyler Hoosman extended the UND lead to 21-7 with 2:03 left before intermission. Siegel finished the day with four tackles, the interception and a pass breakup. Siegel is now tied for fifth on UND's Division I list for career pass breakups with 22. His interception also has him tied for sixth on the UND Divi sion I list for career interceptions with five. - Missouri Valley Football

Siegel, North Dakota - Made the Lumberjacks pay for throwing his way, taking a 50-yard interception to the house early in the second quarter in North Dakota's 27-24 win. It was Siegel's first to uchdown of his career .. With the pick six, Siegel became the first Hawk to score on a pick-six since Hayden Galvin vs. Missouri State (W, 44-10) on April 24, 2021 .. Siegel is now tied for No. 8 on UND's Division I list for interceptions in a career wit h four .. He recorded his first sack of the season, forcing a 42-yard NAU field goal early that landed wide right ..
