2022 PRESEASON RAY GUY WATCHLIST: Matthew Hayball - Vanderbilt,...Hometown of West Adelaide, Australia where he attended Sacred Heart College for grades seven through 12. Hayball (6-1, 188). After attending Australia's ProKick program he joined Vanderbil t in 2019 and made his college debut with nine punts, eight in the first half, for a total of 425 yards, an average of 47.2 yards. Longest of the day was a 70-yarder. He averaged 43.5 yards on the year …As a redshirt sophomore in 2020, he played in ni ne games, punted 70 times, averaged 44.1 yards with three touchbacks, 17 fair catches, 17 inside the 20 and 11 for 50 or more yards … Last season, Hayball punted 61 times for an average of 45.7 yards with six touchbacks, 24 fair catches, 28 inside the 20 and 17 for 50 or more yards. NOV 9 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Florida Atlantic sophomore P Matt Hayball had five punts in Florida Atlantic's 10-6 victory over WKU last Saturday night, including a field flipping and career-long 70-yard boot. He tallied 229 yards , averaged 45.8 yards per punt and three of his kicks were downed inside the 20-yard line. WKU only attempted one return for no yards on the night. - Conference USA Football
