2022 PRESEASON RIMINGTON TROPHY WATCHLIST: Will Rykard, UAB,...Rykard took over the starting center position midway through last season as veteran Andrew Smith Jr. moved to left guard. His stellar play at center solidified the offensive line that average d 206.0 rushing yards per game. Rykard was the starting center for the Independence Bowl victory over No. 13 BYU and also started three games as a redshirt freshman in 2020, including the Conference USA Championship victory at Marshall. The Blazers were 5-1 last season with Rykard in the starting lineup. For his career, Rykard has played in 15 games with nine starts and enters this season as the full-time starter. - UAB Football
