Former Syracuse tight end Luke Benson announced that he will transfer to Georgia Tech on Wednesday, becoming the third player and second tight end to leave the Orange this season and find a landing spot at a Power-Five program. Benson, who had previously announced his intention to transfer, joins tight end Landon Morris (Utah) and quarterback Tommy DeVito (Illinois) as former SU players who have departed and latched on to programs competing at the highest level of college football. Former wide receiver Taj Harris had previously committed to Kentucky but has since decommitted. - The Post-Standard
