SEPT 12 PAC-12 FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Ja'Lynn Polk, RS Fr., WR, Washington (Lufikn, Texas),...Polk set new career highs in Washington's 39-28 win over then No. 11 Michigan State, catching six passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns...His three touchdown catches tie for second-most in UW single-game history. Polk's three TD were from eight, 17 and 53 yards out, and gave the Huskies, at the time of each, leads of 7-0, 29-8 and 36-14. The second touchdown came with just four seconds remaining before halft ime...Last Washington player to be named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week was LB Carson Bruener in Week 9 of last year.
