Jordan was one of the fastest players on SU, and his impact on the field came and went in a flash. He appeared in four games during a redshirt year in 2019, exploding for 223 all-purpose yards in a 56-34 loss at Louisville. - The Post-Standard

Syracuse running back Jawhar Jordan is seeking a transfer after an injury-shortened season. Jordan wrote on Twitter he put his name into the transfer portal, a process that allows other coaches to recruit him. He suffered a season-ending lower-leg injury in the third game, paving the way for freshman Sean Tucker to take over as the team's primary ball carrier. - The Post-Standard

The redshirt freshman is a threat to take any touch to the house every time he touches the ball. Jordan brings elite straight-line speed as well as a polished ability to change directions quickly and in tight spaces. Finding ways to get Jordan into space , particularly if he's matched up with a linebacker, should be near the top of first-year offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert's wish list. Jordan's biggest question mark? Pass protecting at 5 feet, 9 inches and 172 pounds behind a shorthanded offensive line. - The Post-Standard
