Arizona State coach Herm Edwards also said Monday that he misspoke about OL Joey Ramos' diagnosis of a high-ankle injury during Thursday's postgame press conference and clarified that the offensive lineman is out for the season. The head coach added that starting right tackle Des Holmes and defensive lineman Gharin Stansbury (hamstring issue), who both missed Week 1 against NAU, are "questionable" for Saturday at Oklahoma State. - Arizonasports.com

Former Iowa State offensive tackle Joey Ramos is transferring to Arizona State, he announced Monday on Twitter. Ramos is a Metro Phoenix native and played high school ball at Deer Valley in Glendale. He spent four seasons at Iowa State, redshirting in 20 18 before finding a special teams role in 2019. The following season, he started five games on offense and was a part of a unit that allowed the fewest sacks in the Big 12. The 6-foot-5, 305-pounds lineman played 13 games last year, though most prominent ly on special teams, and has two years of eligibility remaining. He picked ASU over his other announced top choices of Bowling Green and Tulsa. He was a consensus three-star recruit out of high school and No. 7 prospect in Arizona, according to 247Sports . - ArizonaSports.com
