2021 ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM (COACHES): OL JD DiRenzo, Sacred Heart, Sr.,...Champions of the Northeast Conference for the second time in seventh months, the Sacred Heart University football team hauled in 12 postseason conference awa rds as announced by the league office. Junior Malik Grant was named NEC Offensive Player of the Year and Mark Nofri captured Coach of the Year. Grant was joined on the First-Team All-NEC by offensive tackle, J.D. DiRenzo, punter Noah Gettman, defensive back Salaam Horne, defensive end Kevin Peprah and center/guard Josh Sokol. - Sacred Heart Football

2019 ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): OL JD DiRenzo, Sacred Heart, Jr.,...DiRenzo's talent and versatility was on display all season as the junior transitioned from starting at right tackle in all 11 games last season to an All-NEC First Te amer at left tackle in 2019. Protecting the Pioneer QB blindside all season, DiRenzo was a key piece in the Pioneers' pass blocking unit that held opponents to a sack rate below three percent in all dropbacks this season. He started all 12 games at left tackle this season and heads into his senior season with 23 consecutive starts along the Pioneer O-Line. - Sacred Heart Football
