2019 ALL-MIAA SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Quarterback Chance Fuller, Fort Hays State,...A sophomore from Arlington, Texas, Fuller put up big numbers in his first full year as a starter for the Tigers at quarterback. The MIAA featured three of the top five pas sers in the nation during the regular season, Fuller being one of the three by ranking fifth in the nation with 3,344 yards. MIAA Offensive Player of the Year Brook Bolles of Central Missouri was the nation's leader at 3,660 yards.Fuller broke the FHSU record for passing touchdowns in a season with 35, previously set by Shawn Behr in 1995 with 34, and he ranked fourth in the nation in passing touchdowns by the end of the regular season. He ranked 14th nationally in completion percentage (258-of-4 00) at 64.5 percent. OCT 28 MIAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Chance Fuller of Fort Hay State received his second consecutive athlete of the week accolade for 2019. Fuller threw for a career-high 435 yards in a 37-31 win over Nebraska Kearney. He completed 28-of-38 pass att empts (73.7 percent) while throwing for three touchdowns. He connected on an 88-yard touchdown, the longest pass completion of his career so far. He also had touchdown passes of 15 yards and 9 yards in the first half while connecting with seven different receiving targets. - MIAA Football

OCT 21 MIAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Chance Fuller of Fort Hays State received his first athlete of the week accolade for 2019. Fuller threw for 306 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-41 win at Pittsburg State. He completed 71.8 percent of his passes (23-of-32) and had two touchdown passes over 60 yards that went to Layne Bieberle, who finished with 152 yards on four catches. - MIAA Football
