NOV 14 SEC CO-DEFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: Byron Young, DL, Alabama,..Turned in one of the most complete defensive performances of his career in a 30-24 win at No. 11 Ole Miss. Recorded career highs with 11 total tackles (six solo) and two sacks in Oxf ord. Recorded sacks for a loss 9 yards, including a 6-yard sack of the Rebels' Jaxon Dart on 3rd and 14 with 53 second remaining in the game. Forced the Crimson Tide's only turnover over the game, a fumble on the Ole Miss 23-yard line that resulted in a Alabama touchdown in the final seconds of the first half that cut the Rebels lead to 17-14. Added two more quarterback hurries and batted down a pass. Helped limit Ole Miss to just 7 points in their final seven possessions of the game as the Tide rallied from a 10-0 first-half deficit. - SEC Football
