At the end of the college season NFL teams were saying good things about South Carolina guard Jovaughn Gwyn. When he was weighed and measured at the NFPA workouts, his height (6-1 7/8) and wingspan (76 5/8) were disappointing. But on the field he was imp ressive in practice using strong hands and great technique to be consistent as a pass protector. NFL Draft Scout has him rated No. 206 overall (sixth round area), but Gwyn may have improved his stock last week. - Frank Cooney, NFL Draft Scout
