  2022 ALL-CONFERENCE USA SECOND TEAM: K Jared Sackett, UTSA,...Sackett earned the second-team selection at place-kicker in his final season as a Roadrunner after back-to-back years as an honorable mention pick in 2017-18. The Fort Worth native has made 21 of 26 field goals (80.8%) and all 58 extra-point attempts this season, marks that rank second on UTSA's single-season list. A five-time C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week honoree in 2022, he has made 13 of his last 14 field-goal tries and drilled three in a game in wins against UAB and Louisiana Tech. - Texas-San Antonio Football

  NOV 28 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: UTSA K Jared Sackett kicked the game-winning field goal with three seconds left to complete UTSA's historic 34-31 comeback victory over UTEP on Saturday in San Antonio. The senior split the uprights from 28 yards to cap the Roadrunners' final drive, which started with 4:03 left on the clock and the score tied at 31-all. Sackett also drilled a career long-tying 51-yarder late in the third quarter to pull UTSA to within one score after trailing 24-0 in the first half and 31-14 early in the second half. With his two makes, the Fort Worth native took over sole possession of first place on the program's career field goals chart with 52, and he improved to 19-24 this season. He also made all four extra points and had touchbacks on five of his seven kickoffs in the win over the Miners that wrapped up a perfect 8-0 league ledger and improved UTSA to 10-2 overall with its ninth straight victory. - Conference USA Football

  NOV 21 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: UTSA K Jared Sackett extended his streak of consecutive field goals made to nine, after going 2-2 in UTSA's 41-7 road win over Rice on a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon in Houston. The senior kicker split the uprights from 30 and 36 yards in the third quarter to help the Roadrunners clinch the C-USA regular season crown and the right to host the championship game for the second straight year. Sackett also made all five extra-point attempts to push his season tally to 48 without a miss. Sackett is 17-21 on the year, ranking 16th nationally with 1.55 field goals per game. - Conference USA Football

  NOV 7 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: UTSA K Jared Sackett was 3-3 on field goals and made all three extra-point attempts to help lead UTSA to a 44-38 double-overtime victory over UAB on Saturday. The senior kicker split the uprights from 29 and 31 yards, before drilling a 46-yarder, all in the second quarter, to help the Roadrunners build a 16-10 halftime lead. Sackett's extra point in the first overtime following a touchdown catch by Tykee Ogle-Kellogg sent the contest to a second overtime. The Fort Worth native is 12-16 on field goals this season and he ranks fourth in C-USA and 30th nationally with 1.33 field goals per game. - Conference USA Football

  OCT 10 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: UTSA K Jared Sackett made all four extra-point attempts and his only field goal try to help lead UTSA to a 31-28 victory over WKU on Saturday at the Alamodome. The senior kicker drilled a 49-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to give the Roadrunners a 17-14 lead they would never relinquish. He also had three touchbacks on five kickoffs in UTSA's third straight win against the Hilltoppers. Sackett is now 7-9 on field goals and a perfect 27 of 27 for PATs this season. - Conference USA Football

  SEPT 5 CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: K Jared Sackett made the most of his return to the UTSA program in the season opener versus No. 24 Houston on Saturday in San Antonio. The senior transfer kicker drilled a 37-yard field goal as time expired to tie the score at 24-24 and force overtime. In the first extra period, the Fort Worth native split the uprights from 39 yards out to send the contest into double overtime before the Roadrunners eventually dropped a 37-35 heartbreaker to the Cougars. Sackett was a two-time Lou Groza Award semifinalist and Freshman All-American for UTSA in 2017-18 before transferring to Arkansas and then USF prior to rejoining the Roadrunners this year. - Conference USA Football
