2022 ALL-MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM: Offensive Lineman - Sidy Sow, Eastern Michigan,...Sow collected All-MAC honors for the third time in his career after earning first-team honors a year ago and third-team accolades in 2020. The all-time leader in Eastern Michigan history in games played (56) and games started (54), he will go down as one of the best offensive linemen to don the green and white. On the field for 876 snaps in 2022, Sow helped the Eagles lead the MAC in red zone offense (95.6%) a nd third down percentage (45.1), while finishing second in team passing efficiency (136.1). 2020 ALL-MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE THIRD TEAM (COACHES): Offensive Lineman - Sidy Sow, Eastern Michigan,...A fixture in both EMU's run blocking and pass protection efforts, Sow was impressive in this, his junior season with the Green and White. He started all six games for Eastern Michigan at the left guard position, and helped spur an EMU rushing attack that saw seven different Eagles record multiple attempts on the ground en route to 776 total yards and 11 of EMU's 23 offensive touchdowns in 2020. Sow w as also responsible for the protection of QB Preston Hutchinson, who racked up better than 1,600 yards through the air in just six games and scored eight TDs of his own on the ground. - Eastern Michigan Football
