The most recent Alabama player to enter the NCAA transfer portal will be continuing his career in the Big 12. Wide receiver Chadarius Townsend is transferring to Texas Tech, he announced on Instagram Tuesday night. The former four-star recruit spent time at three different positions for the Crimson Tide - wide receiver, running back and defensive back - but his only playing time aside from special teams came during mop-up time. Townsend, who entered the transfer portal last week, will be immediately eli gible at Texas Tech as a graduate transfer and will have two years of eligibility remaining. - Birmingham News
