  Matthew Winston returned an interception 34 yards for a score and Princeton beat Pennsylvania 34-14 on Saturday to claim its fourth Ivy League title in eight seasons. Princeton (9-1, 6-1 Ivy League) needed a win to earn a share of the title. Senior quarterback Cole Smith completed 20 of 28 passes for 214 yards while running for 69 more and a touchdown for Princeton. Dylan Classi threw a TD pass to John Volker off a double reverse. Christian Brown set up another Princeton touchdown with an interception. Aidan Sayin threw for 255 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for Penn (3-7, 1-6).   Cole Smith threw three touchdown passes in the first half and Princeton knocked off Yale 35-20 on Saturday, and knocking the Bulldogs out of a three-way tie for first place in the Ivy League. Princeton, Yale and Dartmouth each entered Saturday with 4-1 records in conference play. Princeton and Dartmouth now share the Ivy League lead, with the Big Green holding the tiebreaker after handing the Tigers their first loss last week, 31-7. Princeton plays its season finale Saturday at Penn. Smith's third TD pass, a seven-yard strike to Jacob Birmelin, put the Tigers in front for good at 21-17 with :03 left in the first half. Nolan Grooms and Spencer Alston each ran for second-quarter touchdowns and Jack Bosman kicked a 43-yard field goal that had given Yale a 17-14 lead.   Facing fourth-and-3 near midfield on its first possession, Cole Smith completed a 7-yard pass to Jacob Birmelin and Princeton pressed on from there to score the first of three straight touchdowns and defeat Cornell 34-16 on Friday night. The undefeated Tigers (7-0, 4-0 Ivy League), ranked No. 15 in the FCS coaches poll, piled up 334 yards of total offense and scored on their first six possessions into the third quarter. Niko Vangarelli scored the first two touchdowns of his career - on runs from the 3 and the 1 - Jeremiah Tyler scored on a 36-yard fumble recovery, Smith threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Carson Bobo and Jeffrey Sexton added a pair of field goals. Smith completed 15 of 22 passes for 191 yards and a touchdown.

Cornell (1-6, 0-4) began the game with three turnovers - downs, fumble, interception - and trailed 21-0 less than a minute into the second quarter. Jameson Wang lofted a 19-yard pass caught by Alex Kuzy over his shoulder while crossing the goal line to get Cornell on the board after a 10-play, 79-yard drive. Scott Lees added a 36-yard, first-half field goal. Richie Kenney - 19-of-37 passing for 256 yards - completed a 28-yard touchdown pass to Thomas Glover in the fourth quarter for Cornell. - AP College Football

  Cole Smith completed 25 of 27 passes for 476 yards and four touchdowns and Princeton filled the stat sheet beating Brown 56-42 on Saturday. Smith's passing total is the second highest in school history. Meanwhile, Collin Eaddy ran for career-high four touchdowns and gained 130 rushing on 15 carries. Jacob Birmelin had 175 yards receiving on 11 receptions, Dylan Classi had 146 yards with five catches and a touchdown and Andrei Iosivas 140 yards with six catches and two scores.   Cole Smith threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns and ran for two scores to help Princeton beat Stetson 63-0 on Saturday. The Tigers (2-0) have outscored the opposition 95-0 to start the season. The last time the Tigers didn't allow a point in two straight games was in 1965, beating Colgate 27-0 and Penn 51-0. The 63-point outing was Princeton's highest scoring point total since a 65-22 win at Brown on Oct. 19, 2019. Jacob Birmelin, Dylan Classi and Andrei Iosivas each caught a touchdown passe from Smith.   Cole Smith passed for 412 yards and three touchdowns, and Princeton beat Lehigh 32-0 on Saturday. Smith had scoring passes of 34, 42 and 52 yards to build a 29-0 lead midway through the third quarter. Smith finished with the fourth most single-game passing yards in program history. Jacob Birmelin caught eight passes for 139 yards and a score, and Andrei Iosivas added 117 yards receiving and two touchdowns on four catches for Princeton (1-0). Collin Eaddy rushed for 70 yards and a score.

It was Princeton's first game since Nov. 23, 2019 as the Ivy League did not participate in athletic competition during the 2020-21 academic year. The Tigers were named the preseason league favorite by Ivy media members, receiving eight of 16 first-place votes. Lehigh (0-3) was held to 92 total yards, including minus-25 rushing.
