| LSU football coach Ed Orgeron closed a week of re-recruiting with perhaps his best keep on Saturday night as junior starting left guard Ed Ingram announced he would return for the 2021 season. Ingram, a junior from DeSoto, Texas, is the Tigers' second-mo st experienced offensive linemen as he has started 24 games since his freshman season in 2017, including nine in the 2020 season. He was suspended for the duration of the 2018 season. Ingram was the second offensive lineman in two days to let Orgeron kno w about plans to return. On Friday, junior right guard Chasen Hines said he would return next season. Hines started all 10 games in the 2020 season after serving as a backup at center in 2019 and as a backup at guard in 2018 with one start. - The Daily A dvertiser

| Starting left guard Ed Ingram is "questionable" for LSU's game against Missouri on Saturday, coach Ed Orgeron told reporters Monday, which means the Tigers could be without one of their best and most consistent offensive linemen. Orgeron also said he bel ieves starting left tackle Dare Rosenthal could play against Missouri after missing a game due to an injury. Rosenthal didn't practice all of last week, and Orgeron said he may return this week. "Hopefully he can start practicing this week," Orgeron said . "I'm not sure that he can yet. I think he will be." The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Ingram limped off the field on the final drive of LSU's 41-7 win over Vanderbilt, and he was replaced by true freshman Marlon Martinez. - Baton Rouge Advocate
