2021 ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): K Luke Samperi, Bryant, Sr.,...Samperi closes out of the highest-scoring career for a Bryant kicker in DI program history with his second All-NEC nod. He made 7-of-10 field goals and 39-of-40 PATs, finishing the year with 60 points. Samperi made a season-long field goal of 41 yards at Marist and closed his career by making his final PATs. As a Bulldog, Samperi finished 22-of-34 (65 percent) on field goals and 97-105 (92 percent) on PATs for 1 63 points. - Bryant Football

2019 ALL-NORTHEAST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): K Luke Samperi, Bryant, Jr.,...Samperi becomes just the second kicker (Rowley) to earn All-NEC honors in Bryant history. He finished the year 11-of-14 in field goal attempts and 20-of-22 on PATs. Sampe ri led the NEC in field goal percentage (78.6), was third in total field goals with his program record-tying 11 and finished with 53 points. He opened his season by kicking a 49-yard field goal in the season opener and made eight-straight at one point. T hat stretch included a career-high 50-yard field goal against Duquesne, just the third field goal of 50+ yards in school history. Samperi was a perfect 6-for-6 inside of 40 yards this season. - Bryant Football

NOV 18 NEC SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: LUKE SAMPERI, BRYANT, PK, Jr., 6-1, 195 lbs., Beverly, MA/Beverly, WEEK 12 Stats: 6 points, 2 field goals (45, 50),...Samperi was on the kicking end of three pivotal first-half plays, including a pair of long field goals, during Bryant's 20-16 home win over NEC rival Duquesne. The third-year Bulldog accounted for his team's first six points. He opened the game's scoring by nailing a 45-yard field goal 2:47 into the first quarter. Samperi broke a 3-3 tie by bl asting a 50-yarder through the uprights 1:35 into the second quarter. It was the longest field goal converted by a NEC kicker this season. On the ensuing kickoff, Samperi caught the Dukes with a successful onsides attempt that was recovered at the oppone nt's 44-yard line. He bid for a third field goal late in the fourth quarter, but the 44-yard insurance attempt was partially blocked. - Northeast Conference Football
