Memphis junior quarterback Connor Adair is officially in the transfer portal after leaving the team in November, according to multiple reports. Both 247Sports and Rivals reported Adair's departure. He was the second-string quarterback since 2018 and appeared in nine games over three seasons with 21 pass attempts. He played in two games in 2020, with his last appearance coming in the Tigers' win over Stephen F. Austin. He wasn't on the roster for the team's final three games. - Memphis Commercial Appeal

  12/01/20 - QB Connor AdairrSr/2022, Memphis, 6-3, 200 (DS#999 QB) + More +

Memphis' quarterback depth just got thinner with junior Connor Adair, who is Brady White's backup, no longer listed on the team's roster. Coach Ryan Silverfield on Monday stuck to his policy of not commenting on players leaving the team unless they announce it first. But he also mentioned that any player not on the roster is currently not with the team. Adair has been the second-string quarterback the past two seasons and appeared in nine games since the start of the 2018 season.

The Alabama native saw his most action in 2019, appearing in five games and rushing for a 22-yard touchdown against South Florida. Adair, who has two years of eligibility left, threw just one career touchdown pass, which came against UConn in 2018. He attempted 21 passes over three seasons. Adair is the third quarterback - and 13th Tigers player overall - to opt out, transfer or take a leave of absence since August. - Memphis Commercial Appeal
