  2019 ALL-MIAA SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Kicker Parker Sampson, Northwest Missouri,...leads Northwest in points scored (104)...ranks No. 14 in the nation in scoring...13-of-17 in field goals, including 12-of-13 from 49 yards or less...his 53-yard field goal against Emporia State ranked as the second-longest field goal made in school history...connected on all four field goal attempts vs. the Hornets and was named the MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week...booted a game-winning 38-yard field goal to defeat Fort Hays State (Nov. 9) in double overtime. - Northwest Missouri Football

  NOV 11 MIAA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: For the second time in 2019, Parker Sampson was selected as the special teams player of the week. Sampson booted a 38-yard game-winning field goal in double-overtime to defeat Fort Hays State, 36-33. He was also 2-for-2 on field goals, one from 41-yards out followed by the game-winner. Sampson punted seven times for a 39.7 yard-average with three of his punts downed inside the 20. He had a 64-yard punt that was downed at the 1-yard line which set-up a safety for the NW defense on the next play. Sampson had five kickoffs in the game and all five resulted in touchbacks. - MIAA Football

  OCT 7 MIAA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Northwest Missouri's Parker Sampson was selected as the Conference's special teams player of the week for the first time this season. Sampson was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals, including a career-long 53-yarder in a win at Emporia State. The 53-yarder is the longest made field goal this season in the MIAA. He also connected on field goals of 35, 53, 41 and 27 yards. Sampson accounted for the final nine points in the game and added two extra points to tally 14 points in the game. - MIAA Football
