UCA's top two receivers, junior Lujuan Winningham and sophomore Tyler Hudson combined for 105 receptions that went for 1,789 yards and 20 touchdowns a year ago. Both earned All-Southland Conference and underclassmen All-America honors. UCA played the ent ire 2019 season without two of its top performers. WR Brandon Myers, the top returning receiver for the Bears a year ago, dislocated his kneecap in the third practice of fall camp and missed the entire season. DB Jackie Harvell never recovered enough fro m achilles surgery in the spring and sat out the entire season. On top of that, WR Lujuan Winningham broke his arm in Game 8 vs. Sam Houston State. He was one of the top receivers in the nation at the time with 50 catches for 814 yards and 8 touchdowns. He returned for spot duty in the FCS Playoff game vs. Illinois State and still was named first-team All-Southland Conference. - Central Arkansas Football
