Former Western Hills High School star Wan'Dale Robinson is coming home. The 2018 Mr. Kentucky Football announced Friday he is transferring from Nebraska to Kentucky. Robinson, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound do-everything receiver, initially committed to UK as a senior at Western Hills in November 2018 but flipped to Nebraska just more than a month later. In his Monday announcement that he was entering the transfer portal, Robinson cited a desire to move closer to home because his mother was dealing with ongoing health complications following being hospitalized with COVID-19. Robinson appeared in eight games during the coronavirus-shortened 2020 season, catching 51 passes for 461 yards and one touchdown and rushing 46 times for 240 yards and one touchdown. - Co urier Journal

Wan'Dale Robinson, a former Kentucky Mr. Football winner, is transferring from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Robinson announced Monday that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal. In a message posted to Twitter, Robinson cited the previous hospita lization of his mother due to COVID-19 as a reason for his departure. Robinson played in 18 of a possible 20 games while with the Cornhuskers, including all eight of their games in the 2020 season. He led Nebraska in receptions (51), receiving yards (461 ) and tied for the team lead with one receiving touchdown, and also finished with 240 rushing yards and a touchdown on 46 carries. Robinson over his two-year career has scored seven touchdowns and accumulated 1,494 total yards of offense. He's also retur ned 11 kicks for 236 yards. - Herald Leader

Nebraska wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has announced his plan to transfer, leaving the Cornhuskers without one of their top playmakers in 2021. Robinson revealed his decision on Twitter on Monday, saying he wants to move closer to his family in Kentuck y. Robinson split time between running back and receiver as a sophomore. He became the primary running back after Dedrick Mills went out because of an injury. Robinson averaged 5.2 yards per carry while rushing for 240 yards and a touchdown.
