2021 ALL-SEC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): QB Matt Corral, Ole Miss,...Corral has completed 68 percent of his passes for 3,339 yards and 20 touchdowns, with just two interceptions. Corral also has 597 yards on the ground with 11 TDs. The junior from Ventura, California, is the only player in the FBS with more than 3,000 yards passing and 500 yards rushing this season. The 11 rushing TDs are the third-most ever by a Rebel quarterback in a single season. He ranks ninth in the FBS in total offense (327.7). He is one of just three quarterbacks nationally to have thrown for at least 20 touchdowns and run for 11 or more TDs. He's just the third Ole Miss QB in program history to tally 20 passing TDs in back-to-back seasons. - Mississippi Football

Snoop Conner ran for two touchdowns and No. 8 Mississippi scored 21 straight points to beat Mississippi State 31-21 on Thursday night in a windy, rainy and cold Egg Bowl. Matt Corral ran for a touchdown and passed for 229 yards to help Ole Miss (10-2, 6-2 Southeastern Conference) overcome an early 6-3 deficit for a 24-6 lead early in the fourth quarter. Corral was 25 of 33 with an interception. The Rebels finished with 388 yards of total offense, with Connor scoring twice on 1-yard runs during the decisive outburst. He rushed for 60 yards on 16 carries. Dontario Drummond had 13 receptions for 133 yards and Jerrion Ealy scored on a 15-yard run to make it 31-13 lead with 5:35 left.

Mississippi State's Will Rogers was 38 of 58 for 336 yards and an 11-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Walley in the fourth quarter. The Bulldogs (7-5, 4-4) added an 11-yard touchdown run by Jo'quavious Marks with 2:27 remaining, but could not pull within single digits. The Bulldogs had 420 yards of total offense, primarily in the final period in the belated rally, but had trouble translating yards into points. Makai Polk had 10 receptions for 98 yards and added a two-point conversion. Nolan McCord had field goals of 34 and 29 yards. - Mississippi/AP College Football

Mississippi quarterback Matt Corral appears set to wrap up his college career this season. The 10th-ranked Rebels' Heisman Trophy contender posted on social media Friday night that Saturday's game against Vanderbilt will be his finale at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Corral, a junior, is projected as a potential early first-round NFL draft pick. Corral penned a message ahead of what he called "my final game at The Vaught." He thanked coach Lane Kiffin and offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby and others. "Coach Kiffin and Coach Lebby showed me how to be a true leader on and off the field," Corral wrote. "They prepared me to be an elite player at the position, and nothing less was acceptable. "They held me to high standards, and the relationship I have with them made me not want to let them down in any way." Kiffin said multiple times this week that he expected it to be Corral's final home game. Corral has passed for 2,774 yards and 17 touchdowns against two interceptions. He has also rushed for 523 yards and 10 touchdowns. - AP College Football

Mississippi beat one of the best defensive teams in the Southeastern Conference with a shut-down performance of its own. A.J. Finley returned an interception 52 yards for a touchdown and Matt Corral threw for 247 yards and a touchdown to lead No. 12 Ole Miss to a 29-19 win over No. 11 Texas A&M on Saturday night. "The defense just had an amazing day," Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said. "That came against one of the hottest teams in America. Just an unbelievable great day overall." The Rebels (8-2, 3-3 Southeastern) held a 15-13 lead in the fourth quarter before Ashanti Cistrunk's interception set up a 13-yard touchdown run by Snoop Conner with 6:32 left. "I just walked right into it. That's all there was to it," Cistrunk said. "We tied up on the ball, but I knew I had it." Finley provided an insurmountable cushion on the next series, grabbing Zach Calzada's throw and returning it down the Texas A&M sideline. "It was a crazy moment," Finley said. "It was my first pick-six since I've been here, so that was really big for me." Texas A&M (7-3, 4-3), which came in second in the SEC to Georgia in in yards per play allowed, trailed 15-0 at half, but whittled the lead to two in the fourth quarter on a 24-yard scoring run by Devon Achane and field goals by Seth Small.

Achane ran for a 9-yard touchdown to finish the scoring with 3:11 left. Corral completed 24 of 37 passes and Caden Costa kicked field goals of 33 and 32 yards. Chance Campbell and Keidron Smith added a safety by tackling Isaiah Spiller in the end zone in the first half. "That was a disappointing thing coming up here," A&M coach Jimbo Fisher said about the scoreless first half. "We put ourselves behind the eight ball. Give Ole Miss credit. They played a really good game." The Rebels finished with 504 yards of total offense, highlighted by Jerrion Ealy with 24 carries for 152 yards and added 34 yards on four receptions. - Mississippi/AP College Football

Lane Kiffin is not ready to proclaim No. 12 Mississippi as an elite team. Not yet, anyway. "We're good, but not great. But we're close," the coach said after the Rebels defeated LSU 31-17 Saturday with 31 unanswered points that spanned the second and third periods. "We've got to get healthy. If we can do that and execute, then we could be a really special team," he said. Matt Corral threw for a touchdown and ran as the Rebels (6-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) defeated LSU (4-4, 2-3) and lame duck coach Ed Orgeron. The Tigers lost in their first game since it was announced Orgeron wouldn't return next season. A former Mississippi coach, he led the Tigers to the national championship less than two years ago.

Mississippi retired the No. 10 jersey of former All-America quarterback Eli Manning at halftime. The capacity crowd of 64,523 enthusiastically cheered Manning and his family members during the tribute. "It was a good day and a good win," Kiffin said. "I've got to be more positive. It wasn't the prettiest win, but considering Matt wasn't 100 percent and how banged up we are, well, I've just got to be more positive." Trailing 7-0, Corral led four consecutive scoring drives, including a 3-yard touchdown run and a 2-yard touchdown pass to Casey Kelly. The Rebels led 17-7 at halftime and kept pulling away. Corral enhanced his status as a Heisman Trophy contender with an efficient performance after being considered questionable from injuries sustained in last week's win over Tennessee. He finished 18 of 23 passing for 185 yards, rushed for 24 yards, including three third-down conversion runs before yielding to reserves in the final period. - Mississippi/AP College Football

No. 13 Mississippi held off Tennessee 31-26 on Saturday night after Rebels coach Lane Kiffin avoided being by hit by golf balls as Volunteers fans pelted the field with objects in the chaotic final minutes. Ole Miss stopped Tennessee a yard shy of a first down on a fourth-and-24 pass with just over a minute left. After that play, and the review that confirmed the spot of the ball, Tennessee fans pelted the field with objects. Tennessee's cheerleaders, dance team and band were ordered out of the stadium and police cleared the student section. "I don't know if I'm more excited that we found a way to win or that I didn't get hit with the golf balls that they were throwing at me," former Vols coach Kiffin told SEC Network, holding up a yellow golf ball. "I still have my souvenir golf ball," Kiffin said. "I also got hit with bottles with some brown stuff in them. I don't think those fans would waste moonshine. You've got one of the most passionate fan bases in America. A call didn't go their way." Play resumed after about a 20-minute delay.

Matt Corral threw for 231 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 195 yards for Mississippi (5-1, 2-1 Southeastern Conference). Hendon Hooker threw for 233 yards and a touchdown and for Tennessee (4-3, 2-2) and ran for 108 yards and a score. "I'm disappointed in the way the game ended with things being thrown from the crowd," Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said. "I know that's very few of our crowd members. For the most part of the game, what an unbelievable atmosphere to see Vol Nation show out the way they did." - Mississippi/AP College Football

Sam Williams and Tavius Robinson pressured Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson on a potential game-winning 2-point conversion and No. 17 Mississippi held on for a wild 52-51 victory Saturday against the 13th-ranked Razorbacks after allowing a touchdown in the final play of regulation. Arkansas (4-2, 1-2 SEC) scored on a 9-yard touchdown pass from Jefferson to Warren Thompson as time expired to pull within a point and decided to go for the win. Jefferson rolled right and under extended pressure from Williams and Robinson, overthrew Treylon Burks in the end zone.

Ole Miss (4-1, 1-1) took the lead with 1:07 remaining as Matt Corral threw a 68-yard touchdown pass to Braylon Sanders, accompanied by a soaring clipboard flip by a trailing coach Lane Kiffin, racing down the home sideline. Arkansas answered with a 9-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to set up the decisive 2-point play. The frantic final two minutes capped an overwhelming offensive performance by both teams with 1,287 total yards and 14 touchdowns. Corral accounted for four touchdowns, two on runs of 5 and 7 yards and passed 14 of 21 for 287 yards. Sanders had two receptions for 127 yards while Henry Parrish Jr. and Snoop Conner rushed for 111 and 110 yards, respectively. - Mississippi/AP College Football

Matt Corral was not going to let an extended weather delay spoil his night. The Mississippi quarterback shrugged off the nearly two-hour pause and posted a record-setting performance. "We had the best week of practice that we've had since I've been here," Corral said. "It showed tonight. The weather wasn't going to stop us." Corral accounted for a school-record seven touchdowns in less than three quarters as No. 17 Mississippi defeated Tulane 61-21 Saturday night. Corral ran for four touchdowns – 9, 15, 15 and 6 yards – and passed for three scores, finishing 23 of 32 for 355 yards. Corral had touchdown passes of 12, 50 and 45 yards to Dontario Drummond, Jonathan Mingo and Braylon Sanders, respectively.

Corral was lifted after directing three scoring drives early in the third quarter to build a 61-21 lead, capped by his final two touchdown runs. The Rebels finished with 707 yards of total offense, 403 by Corral, on a pace to merit consideration in the Heisman Trophy race. "The numbers really don't mean much to me. Not really," Corral said. "But I think they mean something to him (Coach Lane Kiffin) and I think he wants it more for me than I do. I'm just happy we played so well." The Rebels (3-0) responded to the weather delay efficiently, scoring on six of the seven opening possessions, including touchdown runs of 19 and 11 yards by Henry Parish Jr. and Drummond. Jerrion Ealy led the Ole Miss rushers with 15 carries for 103 yards. "This is a really good win," Mississippi coach Lane Kiffin said. "Tulane is a really good team and I think they'll do really good things the rest of the way, but we played well." - Mississippi Football/AP College Football

Mississippi quarterback Matt Corral insists he does not play favorites when it comes to picking receivers. "I really don't. I go through my progressions and make my reads," Corral said after throwing for five touchdowns - four in the first half - as No. 20 Mississippi routed FCS member Austin Peay 54-17 on Saturday night. "There's really not a favorite. We've got receivers that can make plays...It's hard for the defense to figure out who to take away." Ole Miss (2-0) added a defensive touchdown on a strip sack and 33-yard fumble return from defensive end Sam Williams and a safety from the special teams to build a 37-0 second quarter lead over the Governors (1-1) of the Ohio Valley Conference. "We were coming off a short week with the Monday win with Louisville," Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said. "For one full day of practice and coming off a physical game, I thought our starters played pretty good." Corral finished 21 of 33 for 281 yards and had two other potential touchdown passes dropped during a lopsided first half.

Corral guided two series in the third quarter, building a 51-10 lead on a 3-yard run by Snoop Conner, before yielding to three reserves in the final 25 minutes. "The fast start was important," Corral said. "It's a lot of little things that if you do them right, they compound into big things, like touchdowns. We've still got some things to clean up but we got the job done." Dontario Drummond and Jonathan Mingo had two touchdown receptions apiece, covering 1, 49, 15 and 40 yards, respectively. Braylon Sanders added an 11-yard touchdown reception before Caden Costa closed the scoring with a 26-yard field goal. The Rebels finished with 631 yards of total offense. - Mississippi/AP College Football

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit only sees one path Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral can take to winning the Heisman Trophy. The Tipico Sportsbook and USA TODAY Sports list Corral as having the seventh-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy this fall. But Herbstreit, who will be the color commentator for Ole Miss' season opener against Louisville on Monday, doesn't see that happening unless the No. 25 Rebels vault into College Football Playoff contention. "It's impossible. It's virtually impossible," Herbstreit said. "Please don't make the title 'Herbstreit says impossible for Corral to win Heisman.' I'm just going by facts. It's not very often a guy on a 7-5 team wins the Heisman or an 8-4 team wins the Heisman." Don't get Herbstreit wrong. He's high on Corral.

He spoke with him earlier this week. He said he loves Corral's competitive spirit, loves the way Corral plays and loves watching Corral play. He said he'd rank Corral's trio of top receiving targets among the best in the country, not just the SEC, and thinks that trio coupled with Corral and Ole Miss' quartet of talented running backs means the Rebels are in store for a "monster year." But Herbstreit is basing this on facts. Ten of the last 13 Heisman winners have played on teams that made the College Football Playoff or BCS Championship. No player from a team that won fewer than nine games has won the Heisman since Notre Dame receiver Tim Brown in 1987. - The Clarion Ledger

Five Ole Miss and Mississippi State football players were named to the preseason All-SEC team by the league's coaches Tuesday, four of which representing the Rebels and one representing the Bulldogs. Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral was tabbed first-team all-conference and Rebels running back Jerrion Ealy was picked as a first-team all-purpose player and return specialist. Ealy also earned third-team honors as a running back.

Mississippi State offensive lineman Charles Cross and Ole Miss punter Mac Brown were second-team selections. Ole Miss offensive lineman Nick Broeker rounds out the list with a third-team selection. Alabama led with 15 All-SEC selections, seven on the first team. Mississippi State was one of three schools without a first-team All-SEC selection, alongside Vanderbilt and Missouri. - The Clarion Ledger

One thing Kiffin hasn't had too many times in his career is a repeat quarterback. Since his first year as offensive coordinator at USC in 2005, Kiffin has only had two quarterbacks as his primary starter in back-to-back years. Matt Barkley started for him from 2010-12, and Chris Robison started for FAU in 2018-19. Based on the jumps those two made in year two under Kiffin's tutelage, Corral could be in for a huge year.

Barkley went from throwing 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a 141.2 passer efficiency rating to throwing 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions with a 161.2 rating. Robinson threw 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions with a 138.3 rating in 2018, then threw for 28 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2019 with a 144.9 rating. USC' went 10-2 in Barkley's second year under Kiffin and FAU went 10-3 in Robison's second year under Kiffin. Corral was significantly better in his first year under Kiffin than either Barkley or Robison, but if his efficiency can take a similar jump, he'll likely be in the conversation for the Heisman and Ole Miss could win as many games as USC and Florida Atlantic did. - The Clarion Ledger

When Lane Kiffin first appeared at SEC Media Days as Tennessee's coach in 2009, he brought his preseason All-SEC ballot to prove he voted for Florida quarterback Tim Tebow. One of the top storylines that year was ferreting out which coach didn't vote for Tebow, causing him to miss unanimous selection on the coaches' preseason all-conference team by one vote. Then-South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier revealed he was the culprit. Spurrier said the folks he tasked with completing his ballot made a mistake by voting for Ole Miss quarterback Jevan Snead. Twelve years later, Kiffin returned to media days on Tuesday as Ole Miss' second-year coach. And this time, there's no need for anyone to apologize for casting a preseason All-SEC vote for an Ole Miss quarterback.

I reminded Kiffin on Tuesday of how he brought his ballot with him to media days in 2009 and asked whom he plans to vote for as preseason All-SEC quarterback this year. "I would say our own quarterback in Matt," Kiffin said. "Statistically, he played as well as anybody in the country." Corral is one of three quarterbacks who will appear here this week. That speaks to some coaches' reluctance to allow quarterbacks to take their rightful place in the spotlight, but also to the league's lack of proven stars at the position. - The Clarion Ledger

It might not seem worth it today to spend $10,000 for an hour with Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral. By the end of the season, Corral bets it'll seem like a bargain. Now that college athletes can profit off their names, Images and likenesses, the landscape of college athletics is changing. Players can make extra cash now from signing autographs, hosting youth camps, starting their own brands and clothing lines, appearing in advertisements or making public appearances, just to name a few options. A website called Dreamfield has become a hub where people and companies can pay hourly rates to hire college athletes to make appearances at private events. Corral has made headlines and created plenty of social media fodder by setting his hourly rate at $10,000 for an appearance.

Corral told the Clarion Ledger no one has bitten on that price yet. That's partially by design. "Honestly I didn't want to, I don't want to say waste my time, but I want to make it worth my time," Corral told The Clarion Ledger. "They can laugh at it all they want. When it comes to the season and I do what I'm supposed to do, I'm going to have the last laugh." Making a quick buck (or 10,000 of them) isn't Corral's goal, even with NIL laws and protections passed. He said setting his dollar amount so high isn't about making money or showing clout. And it's not even an amount he decided on alone. He said he has a team of players, coaches and advisers he trusts that helps him navigate the new and complicated waters of the NIL era. - The Clarion Ledger

Matt Corral went from food poisoning to avoiding rat poison. Ole Miss' junior quarterback is engulfed with hype heading into the season. Coming off a year where he led the nation in total offense per game, Corral enters is a preseason All-SEC and All-America candidate. The BetMGM sportsbook gives Corral the eighth-best odds to win the Heisman Trophy. That sort of hype is what Corral tries to ignore. He jokes that coach Lane Kiffin tells him it's rat poison, repeating Nick Saban's famous line about media coverage. But more importantly, Corral said he sees that type of coverage as the sort of thing that can be self-defeating. "I feel like people who listen to it, I feel like it affects their work ethic," Corral said. "For me, it's just straight tunnel vision and keeping the main thing the main thing."

Corral spent the weekend at the Manning Passing Academy, the annual high school football camp hosted by Ole Miss legends Archie, Cooper and Eli Manning and Tennessee legend and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. Corral was a counselor at the camp along with a number of the nation's other top college quarterbacks. Participating at the Manning Passing Academy wasn't just a goal for Corral. It was a priority. Corral was invited to participate in the camp in 2019 but had to withdraw because of food poisoning from fish he had eaten the night before. - The Clarion Ledger

Matt Corral threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns, leading Mississippi to a 26-20 upset of seventh-ranked Indiana in the Outback Bowl on Saturday. Corral's 3-yard pass to Dontario Drummond put the Rebels (5-5) ahead for good with 4:12 remaining. The Ole Miss defense came through with one more stop to ensure the school's first non-losing record since going 6-6 in 2017. Coach Lane Kiffin was rewarded before the game with a new contract, even though he's just competing his first season with the Rebels. Drummond finished with six catches for 110 yards. Corral completed 30 of 44 passes without an interception, including a 5-yard TD throw to Casey Kelly that put Ole Miss up 13-3 midway through the second quarter. - AP College Football

Ole Miss football might've just won its biggest recruiting battle of 2020. Speaking to media members on Wednesday, Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin recounted a conversation he had with quarterback Matt Corral. Corral told Kiffin he is "1,000%" committed to coming back for his redshirt junior season in 2021, forgoing the NFL Draft for at least one more season. That news is huge for Ole Miss, obviously. Corral has played at a record-setting pace in 2020 and will likely enter next season as a preseason All-SEC honoree, if not preseason All-America candidate. Kiffin said Corral told him he feels he needs another year in college to refine his skills, and if Corral does manage to improve from 2020 to 2021, that could mean a huge season for the Ole Miss offense. - The Clarion Ledger

In another historic game, Corral managed to break the Ole Miss single-game passing record, posting 513 yards and passing Shea Patterson's 489-yard performance in 2017. Corral completed 28 out of 32 passes and four touchdowns in the showdown against the Gamecocks on Saturday. "He actually has more total yards per game than anyone in the conference including (Florida's Kyle) Trask," UM head coach Lane Kiffin said in a press conference. "That's pretty impressive, and just a sophomore. He made some plays that have some Mahomes-type of arm angles in the game, which we don't teach." Currently, Corral holds 533 total yards, the second-most in Ole Miss history. Archie Manning still sits on the top with 540 total yards. In addition, the California native has had five games this season in which he passed for over 300 yards, tying him for the third-best in Ole Miss football history. Corral is also tied for fifth on the single-season record list with 22 passing touchdowns. - Daily Mississippian

In a game that Ole Miss had many opportunities to win, the Rebels managed to get stopped repeatedly at the goal line and lose to Arkansas 33-21. The offense was shut down by Hudson Clark, an Arkansas walk-on who recorded three interceptions. Corral threw six interceptions, and two of them were pick sixes. Corral is also the first Southeastern Conference (SEC) quarterback in 14 years to throw six interceptions in one game. "This game can be really humbling, and you've got to be careful with reading all your stuff during the week with how great you are because (this game) will bring you right back down." UM head coach Lane Kiffin said in a press conference on Saturday. "Once you start playing well, people study you."

It does not take long to see what cost the Rebels the win. Some may say this loss can be placed on Corral and Lane Kiffin, who opted to keep him in after multiple interceptions. "I've said it before: I believe you don't pull quarterbacks quick. I think people do that, and it affects confidence and rhythm," Kiffin said. "I know that most people probably would've done that today, but it's the same guy that, the last three weeks, people have been saying is one of the best in the country. I've said to John (Rhys Plumlee) that it would be the same if the roles were reversed." With that statement, Kiffin said that Plumlee would be a top quarterback in that nation if he were the starter. Many fans are asking, "Why not put in Plumlee?" This question will loom into next week and possibly all season. - Daily Mississippian

The Razorbacks scored 24 points off seven Ole Miss turnovers and won a second Southeastern Conference game for the first time since 2016, beating the Rebels, 33-21.   The revived defense of the Arkansas Razorbacks has seen strong combinations of offensive fronts, tailbacks, wideouts, tight ends and quarterback so far in games against No. 4 Georgia, No. 16 Mississippi State and No. 13 Auburn. But the Razorbacks haven't seen anything like the assembly of skill talent and solid offensive linemen they'll face on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. against Ole Miss. Sophomore quarterback Matt Corral has advanced to next-level status in his first season under the tutelage of Coach Lane Kiffin and coordinator Jeff Lebby. Corral leads the nation with 407 total yards per game and the Rebels are second in the FBS with 573 yards per game and 11th with 41.7 points per game. "The guy's playing incredible," University of Arkansas Coach Sam Pittman said. "He's such a gifted athlete and he can throw any pass. He can throw a dart. He can throw a touch pass. He certainly can get away from pressure. The guy's a winner." The Rebels haven't been playing chopped liver either. Their games have been against Florida, Kentucky and traditional defensive stalwart Alabama. - Northwest Arkansas Times

Ole Miss' 647 total yards are the most any team has ever gained against a Nick Saban coached Alabama team. In fact, it's the most yardage a team has gained against any Alabama team. Ever. But Corral isn't willing to rest on that success. "When you make mistakes, you can't make many of them," Corral said about playing against Alabama. "And when they make mistakes, you need to capitalize on them. We didn't do that tonight." Unfortunately, it's hard to win football games when you give up 723 yards and nine touchdowns on 11 drives. Realistically, Alabama should've scored a 10th touchdown if not for a lost fumble inside the 2-yard line. To Kiffin, it's hard to describe this game without using the word "waste." "It's a really disappointing game with the outcome," Kiffin said. "You have the No. 1 team in the country on the ropes. You have a chance to beat them at home here and we don't get it done...So it's kind of a shame that we weren't able to pull it off." - The Clarion Ledger

After the game, Alabama coach Nick Saban questioned whether Kiffin - a former Alabama offensive coordinator under Saban - knew the signals, which, he added, was not unusual. Linebacker Dylan Moses hinted at the signals being an issue, and "it didn't help that coach Kiffin was our coach for like three years and knows the ins and outs of our defense." "FYI, when u go as fast as we do we call our play first," Kiffin tweeted. "Stealing signals wouldn't help us at all because we are snapping the ball why they were still trying to just line up." He also tweeted for Alabama to go win the College Football Playoff national championship. When it comes to the Crimson Tide, Kiffin continues to attract attention.

Prior to the start of Saturday's game, Kiffin took to Twitter to let fans know his pregame suit work was in honor of the Paul "Bear" Bryant. In the week prior leading up to the game, he revealed he is in a group text with three SEC coaches, all of whom are former assistants under Saban: Tennessee's Jeremy Pruitt, Georgia' Kirby Smart and South Carolina's Will Muschamp. When told by Paul Finebaum that Saban is the connection among the coaches, Kiffin quipped, "Yeah, we all have the same father." On Saturday night, Kiffin's offense put up more yards against an Alabama defense than has ever been done before and scored more points against the Crimson Tide than any unranked team has ever. Matt Corral passed for 365 yards for Ole Miss (1-2) and the Rebels put up 647 yards on the Tide. The teams combined for an SEC-record 1,370 yards. - Birmingham News
