Syracuse linebacker Tyrell Richards will seek a transfer. Richards, a redshirt junior linebacker, entered his name into the NCAA's transfer portal, according to an online database of the portal via 247Sports.com. Richards also announced his decision Mond ay morning in a post on Twitter. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound linebacker spent the past four seasons with the program. He totaled 54 tackles (33 solo), 9.5 tackles for loss and six sacks during his three active seasons playing with Syracuse after redshirting in 2017. Richards appeared in eight games and had three starts in the 2020 season, recording 24 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and a blocked kick last season. - The Post-Standard
