Tailback Travis Levy is an all-purpose H-back type that could fill a variety of roles in offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti's new multiple pro-style offense. Tailback David Bailey served as an accomplished understudy last season to AJ Dillon, a three-t ime All-ACC ballcarrier who was a third-round pick by the Green Bay Packers. Bailey rushed for 816 yards on 140 carries with seven touchdowns along with nine catches for 95 yards and a touchdown. Bailey will be the Eagles' every-down back and expects to touch the rock 20 to 25 times a game.Levy has an opportunity to establish his place in the offense as a third-down back on screens and wheel routes out the backfield or as a slot receiver in the spread. Ben Glines was the Eagles' hybrid back last season and Levy possess many of the same skills. "I'm looking forward to whatever role the coaches try and put me in and have an opportunity to make plays on the field," said Levy. "I plan on playing running back and I've been working with the running ba cks in the room. "This is a great opportunity to develop my run game and last year I was a receiver. I've been working on both all camp and it's been good." - Boston Herald
