Alabama defensive back Daniel Wright was ejected for targeting in the second quarter of Saturday night's game against LSU football. Leading with his helmet, Wright hit LSU receiver Jaray Jenkins in the head with 12:48 left in the second quarter. Jenkins laid on the field for a while and was helped to the medical tent after a delay in the game. Wright had three tackles before his ejection. Alabama led 28-7 at the time of Wright's ejection. Since his ejection happened in the first half, Wright will be eligible to return for the entire Alabama vs. Arkansas football game scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12. - Montgomery Advertiser

Another former member of the Houston Texans will be joining the Alabama staff. Shiloh Keo, a starting safety for the Texans in 2013, is expected to be hired to the Crimson Tide staff in a support staff capacity, AL.com has learned. The former fifth-round draft pick played in the NFL from 2011-16, including 2011-14 with the Texans, and was the defensive backs coach at the College of Idaho the last two seasons. Another ex-Texan, Max Bullough, joined the Alabama staff as a graduate assistant earlier in the offseason. - Birmingham News
