2021 ALL-CONFERENCE USA SECOND TEAM (COACHES): OL: Boe Wilson, Gr., WKU,...Mason Brooks, Cole Spencer, Quantavious Leslie and Boe Wilson made up one of the best offensive lines in the nation. According to PFF College, the Hilltoppers earned a pass-block rating of 91.2 to lead all FBS teams; the next-highest in C-USA was Marshall, ranked No. 20 with a 74.8 mark. WKU allowed only 16 sacks, which ranked tied for 13th in the nation despite the offense attempting 651 passes. Spencer's 90.7 pass-block rating led the league, Wilson's 87.9 ranked second, Leslie's 82.7 ranked third and Brooks' 75.6 ranked fifth. Western Kentucky announced the signing of Daewood Davis and Boe Wilson on Friday. Wilson is a 6-foot-3, 300-pound guard that comes as a graduate student after appearing in 39 games over four years for Nebraska, including 23 starts over the last three sea sons. He was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2018. He was ranked among the top 10 offensive guards in the country by Scout and ESPN out of Lee's Summit West (Mo.) High School. - BG Daily News

Senior offensive lineman Boe Wilson appears ready to try to play a sixth year of college football, but it will not be at Nebraska. The Husker veteran, who appeared in 39 games in his career and began 2020 as NU's starting left guard before eventually ced ing most playing time to redshirt freshman Ethan Piper, is in the NCAA's transfer portal as of Thursday afternoon, the Journal Star confirmed. Wilson acknowledged his transfer via Twitter on Thursday evening, thanking the NU coaches and fans.
