Former UTEP and Eastwood quarterback Mark Torrez has found a new home. The 6-foot Torrez will transfer to University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio and will have two more years of eligibility. Torrez missed the 2019 season with a knee injury, then opted out of the 2020 season as the sports world dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic. During his time with the Miners, he was moved to wide receiver after playing quarterback but with Incarnate Word, he will moved back to quarterback. - El Paso Times
